If you are wondering why this day is celebrated or the need to find a day like this, you will get your answer today.

In recent times, significant progress has occurred for the protection and promotion of the rights of women. But one fact that has always remained the same till now is the partiality between men and women. According to the UN, there is no single place or region where women can claim to have equal and the same rights and opportunities as men.

Almost 1.3 billion of the population of women in the world are poor. And do you know that women receive almost 30 to 40 percent less wage than the same workmen do? To add more to it, women have faced many challenges and are still facing a lot to date. They have been raped and have become the victims of violence, whether it be domestic violence, verbal abuse, or any violence. These tortures and inadequate treatments are the primary cause of death among women.
